Washington Summit

November 12th - 13th, 2009
The Newseum | 555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC

Overview

THE BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT GRID OF POWER

Two major events have created a critical need for business leaders to pay close attention to the Washington landscape. First, the global economic crisis has created a new intersection between politics and the boardroom. Government is now driving business, not the other way around. Second, the Obama administration has swept a new group of insiders into Washington’s ecosystem of power. Many of these new influentials were Washington outsiders until now. Most are not yet famous.

More than a series of speeches and beyond the usual policy conference, Bloomberg Washington Summit is a gathering of the New Who´s Who-a conversation with administration decision makers, CEO´s, elected officials, international stakeholders and opinion leaders, conducted by journalists and experts who know how to hone in on what has been, so far, left unsaid.
